Bionics Scientific manufactures Soxhlet Extraction Units for food testing laboratories, pharmaceutical research, universities, chemical analysis labs, oil testing labs and industrial quality control applications. These laboratory extraction systems are used for continuous solvent extraction from solid samples such as grains, food materials, oil seeds, biofuel samples, soil, polymers and other research materials.
Our Soxhlet extractors are available with mantle heater, hot plate heater and water bath heater options. Models are available for 1, 3 and 6 test positions, allowing laboratories to process single or multiple samples as per testing requirement.
Each unit is designed for safe heating, stable operation and repeatable extraction results. Depending on the model, the system can accommodate 50 ml to 1000 ml flasks and can be supplied with glassware, clamps, rods, cooling manifold and other accessories.
Bionics Scientific also offers customization support for flask capacity, heating arrangement, controller type, stand design and accessories. These units are suitable for routine laboratory extraction, research work, quality control and educational applications.
A Soxhlet Extraction Unit works on repeated solvent evaporation, condensation and siphoning. The solvent is heated in the boiling flask, vapors move to the condenser, and the condensed solvent drops onto the sample placed inside the extraction thimble. When the chamber reaches the siphon level, the solvent automatically flows back to the flask with extracted compounds. This cycle repeats until the extraction is complete.

Soxhlet Extraction Unit with Water Bath Heater: These models use a thermostatically controlled water bath to provide gentle and uniform heating during solvent extraction. Available in 1, 3 and 6 test positions, they are ideal for laboratories requiring stable temperature control and consistent extraction performance.

Soxhlet Extraction Unit with Hot Plate Heater: These models use durable aluminium hot plates capable of reaching temperatures up to 200°C. Depending on the model, each heating position can be controlled individually or through a common energy regulator for efficient and repeatable laboratory extraction.
