Kjeldahl Digestion Distillation Unit

Kjeldahl Apparatus is used to determine organic nitrogen (n2) and protein contents in chemical substance. This estimation is done by Kjeldahl digestion method. These units are widely used in food, environmental, urea and chemical industries.

A full understanding of the kjeldahl nitrogen process is the key concept for correct designing of kjeldahl apparatus. We manufacture space saving kjeldahl systems having distillation and digestion units combined. These apparatus are available with 3 or 6 mantle type heating units; each unit is fitted with individual energy regulator. All parts are fixed in a sturdy powder coated MS frame. Each unit can accommodate flasks with 300ml, 500ml and 800ml capacities. In order to experience you comfortable working process, we also supply a number of optional accessories such as glass ware, clamps, lead fume duct and condenser rack etc. From open type or hooded combination type, we construct the kjeldahl machine in any design our customers need.

Micro Kjeldahl Apparatus

Micro Kjeldahl unit is designed for laboratories, where determination of protein / nitrogen in micro quantities is required. A micro scale Kjeldahl distillation cum digestion system is fitted with extraction heater, which is designed for kjeldahl digestion on a micro or macro scale and accommodate up to 6 round bottom flasks between 18 milliliters to 100 milliliters.

Our micro Kjeldahl Digestion block systems are durably constructed with M.S. Sheet duly powder coated. The heater assemblies are recessed into the top insulating board to minimize accidental personnel contact with the hot heater element. The built in energy regulators control temperature individually up to 350°C. The complete macro kjeldahl machine is operated at 220 Volts of power supply and fitted with clamps and arms either to accept a glass fume tube or lead coated fume tubes.
