Laboratory Hot Air Oven Manufacturer in India

Hot Air Oven Manufacturers in India

A laboratory hot air oven uses forced air circulation to provide controlled heating for drying, baking, ageing and other laboratory applications. A blower circulates heated air throughout the chamber to help maintain uniform temperature around the samples.

Bionics Scientific manufactures hot air ovens with temperature control up to 250°C for laboratory, pharmaceutical, textile, research and testing applications. Models are available in different chamber capacities, with PID temperature control and optional configurations according to application requirements. Hot Air Oven Working Principle

The hot air oven works on the principle of forced air convection. Heating elements generate heat while a motor driven fan circulates hot air uniformly throughout the chamber. A PT-100 sensor continuously measures temperature and the PID controller regulates heating to maintain the selected temperature accurately.

  • Laboratory sample drying
  • Glassware drying
  • Dry heat sterilization of compatible materials under validated conditions
  • Pharmaceutical testing and research
  • Textile ageing tests
  • Paper and packaging material testing
  • Electronic and engineering component drying
  • Food and beverage laboratory testing
  • Research and development applications

Hot Air Oven Temperature & Construction

Laboratory hot air ovens are designed for controlled heating from ambient temperature up to 250°C, depending on the selected model and configuration. A PID temperature controller works with a PT-100 sensor to monitor and regulate chamber temperature during operation.

For more uniform heat distribution, a motor-driven circulation fan moves heated air throughout the chamber. The double-walled construction helps reduce heat loss and supports stable operating conditions.

The inner chamber is manufactured from stainless steel, while the outer body is designed for durable laboratory use. Removable and adjustable shelves are provided for arranging samples and laboratory materials inside the chamber.

Electric heating elements provide the required heat, while ventilation openings support controlled air exchange inside the chamber. Over-temperature and electrical protection features are provided according to the selected configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions About Hot Air Ovens

A hot air oven is used for drying, baking, ageing tests, moisture removal and dry heat sterilization in laboratories and industries. Bionics Scientific manufactures forced-air circulation hot air ovens for pharmaceutical, textile, medical, research and testing applications.
A hot air oven works using forced-air convection. Heating elements generate heat while a blower circulates heated air throughout the chamber. A PT-100 sensor and PID controller help maintain the selected temperature.
Bionics Scientific hot air ovens operate from ambient +5°C up to 250°C, depending on the selected model. They are used for controlled drying, baking, ageing and material-testing applications.
A PT-100 RTD sensor is commonly used for temperature measurement. It sends temperature feedback to the PID controller, which regulates the heating system to maintain the selected setpoint.
A hot air oven is designed for higher-temperature drying, baking and dry-heat applications. An incubator maintains lower controlled temperatures for biological growth and sample incubation.
A hot air oven uses circulated heated air, while a vacuum oven reduces chamber pressure to support drying at lower temperatures. Vacuum ovens may be selected for suitable heat-sensitive or oxidation-sensitive materials.
Hot air ovens are used in pharmaceutical, textile, food, medical, electronics, packaging, research and testing facilities for drying, ageing, thermal testing and moisture removal.
